The 7th symposium on Limnology and Aquatic birds

The Aquatic Birds Working Group of the International Society of Limnology (SIL) is announcing:

7th symposium, Kristianstad, Sweden, Aug 15-17 2012

The 7th symposium on Limnology and Aquatic Birds will be held in the town of Kristianstad, Sweden. The town and its surroundings are well known for its wetlands which are part of a biosphere reserve. Kristianstad is in the lowland and agricultural region of southern Sweden, but very close to the southern border of the boreal forest, which offer opportunities to visit a wide variety of wetlands, important for different waterbird communities. The location is therefore ideal for a conference on limnology and aquatic birds.
